Stromlo Equestrian Centre

Longtime trail and endurance cyclists know that Stromlo is a great place to bike. Choose from a variety of approved equestrian and shared routes as you explore the more than 1200 hectares of available property. With a ton of interconnecting trails and water accessible for horses, West Stromlo is perfect if you’re looking for a lengthy ride on calmer undulating terrain. There are paths ideal for all levels of users and lots of bike-free places, ranging from an hour loop to a full day out. The horse float parking at the Uriarra Road car park is close to the West Stromlo paths. Because much of Stromlo Forest Park is bushland, please be mindful of the wildlife (especially snakes in the warmer months and unpredictable kangaroos).
